Maca for Women: Q and As or FAQs for Maca

Maca for Women:  Q and As or FAQs for Maca

These are FAQs on Maca for Women:

1.  Is maca a drug?
No, maca is not a drug; it is a plant which grows in Peru in the Andes Mountains, and the root of it is similar to a sweet potato.

2. Will maca make me fat/obese? (This is one of the most frequent FAQs about maca for women.)

No. Maca will make your hormones work more effectively which is why it is also used for women who are peri-menopausal ( having pre-menopause symptoms). Maca helps to naturally balance your hormones.  The thing that will make you fat is Periactin, a prescription drug that some women like to use with maca so that they will get very large buttocks. Periactin increases your appetite (maca does nothing to change your appetite).  So women use the Periactin to gain more weight so that the maca will go to areas of the body that have already become larger due to the Periactin.

3. Do maca products cost a lot of money?
No. Maca products are very reasonable. The most expensive maca product in our line is only about $50 and that is because it is larger bottle to accommodate women who want to order a two month supply or take more than 3 capsules daily.

4. Does Kim Kardashian use maca?
We really don't know. LOL. But Kim Kardashian has the figure of a woman who uses maca.

This is a brief FAQ, and more FAQs will be posted next week (August 11-17).
